The goal for this project was to return this home to its original luster. After years of less than flattering renovations, the new owners had tastefully renovated the interior, and set out to properly bring the exterior to life. The first steps were to remove all the aluminum siding, enclosed front porch and brick work, and eliminate the oversized windows on the front façade. We resided and retrimmed the entire house, and restored all the exposed rafter tails, adding some style-correct details to the eaves and rakes. Rebuilding the front porch with cedar and mahogany details, and unique custom columns put the finishing touches on this home on a quiet neighborhood street that so clearly calls for outdoor living.
